October is International Walk to School month. We would like to encourage as many children and families as possible to either walk, cycle, scoot or park and stride to school. Not only is it good for our health and the environment, but it also cuts down on the congestion at the school gates.

I’d like to say a huge thank you to all of the families who gave up their time yesterday afternoon and turned up armed with shovels and spades to help clear paths and access to the school. This made it much easier this morning for all pupils and parents to enter the playground safely.

On Sunday 4th March the PTA are asking volunteers to help clear paths in the school playground to help make it safe for children returning to school on Monday 5th March. If you are able to come and help then the organised clearing will start at 1:30 pm.
