Primary 7 are taking part in some exciting trips and workshops this term. During a recent visit to The Risk Factory, the class took part in a range of scenarios, which allowed them to explore risky situations in a safe environment.
Generation Science introduced us to their Robo Constructors Workshop and the children had a great morning building robots which could dance, light up and produce sound.
We are also a few weeks into our Routes to Hoots music programme which will culminate in a street-band performance for the school. The children are enjoying drumming and trying out different brass instruments.
In maths, P7 have been investigating the properties of 2D shapes and 3D objects. They created tessellations by adapting shapes such as parallelograms and hexagons and worked with nets to make 3D objects including some impressive octahedrons and dodecahedrons!
